Artist Ahmed Idan Alkarkhi earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001 and has since built an extensive exhibition record across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region. His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including multiple solo shows at Foundry Gallery in Washington, D.C. (2009, 2010), the Jerusalem Fund Gallery (2011, 2020), Hill Center Galleries (2013), and the Middle East Institute Gallery (2016). He has also exhibited at venues such as Gallery Five in Richmond, VA; the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts; Sandy Spring Museum in Maryland (2018, 2023, 2024, 2025); HCAA Gallery (2019); Brookside Gardens (2021, 2022, 2023, including solo exhibitions); PGAHC Gallery at National Harbor; Dara Global Arts Gallery; Harmony Hall Arts Center (2021, 2024); the Laurel Art Guild (2022); New Deal Café (2024); and the Iraqi Embassy in Washington, D.C. (2024). His most recent exhibitions include a 2026 showing at Virginia N-A Gallery.
