Kendra Lee, known artistically as Kaylee Daryl, is a self-taught fine artist and muralist from Washington, D.C. She graduated with honors from the University of the District of Columbia with a B.A. in Administration of Justice and an A.A. in Liberal Arts, and later earned her MBA from Trinity Washington University. Alongside her artistic practice, she has built a successful career in Human Resources within the federal government, where she brings both expertise and compassion to her work.

Working primarily in acrylics and mixed media, Kaylee is known for her bold use of texture and dynamic palette knife techniques, creating layered, expressive compositions. Her work has been exhibited at venues such as the Port Discovery Museum, the Long Island Aquarium, and the Newark Arts Festival, and she is a recipient of the Grants for Artists award in 2023 and 2025. An active member of organizations including the Black Art Today Foundation, Created2Create, and Artbae, she remains committed to expanding artistic representation. A devoted wife and mother of five, Kaylee balances many roles, but continues to find her greatest joy and identity through her work as an artist.
