2022 Summer Internship Program

The 2022 PGAHC Internship Program is an eight-week paid program from June 13 to August 5, 2022. Through this program, we seek to provide professional development and workforce readiness skills to the next generation of creative industry leaders, by offering immersive, hands-on work experience that enables an individual to put their education, talents, critical thinking skills and more into action.
Interns are expected to work at our central office from 10:00am-2:00pm, 5 days a week at a rate of $15.00/hr, for a total of 20 hours each week. We also offer college credit, subject to an individual’s school approval.
We are seeking interns in the following Placement Areas:
Operations & Office Assistance
Creative Placemaking (Public Art, DPARK3311, Arts’tination)
Grants & Community Development
Programs & Marketing
What you will do:
Work with your assigned senior team member on initiatives for your placement area
Collaborate with other interns and team members across departments on projects
Assist with the coordination of our new office space and logistical efforts*
Represent PGAHC at Arts’tination, our flagship location at National Harbor
Reflect PGAHC’s core values and working towards achieving our mission
What you should bring:
An interest or background in arts, film, nonprofits, communications, or fundraising
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong writing skills
A passion for local art
The ability and confidence to work independently, think outside the box, and take initiative
