ABOUT THE ARTIST MARIE DIAW
Marie Antoinette, a New England native and University of Massachusetts graduate, also holds a master's in cosmetology.
Her love language lies at the intersection of art and fashion, where she thrives as a self-taught, mixed-media artist. Her works span photography, clothing, textiles, wallpaper, and, recently, painting.
She has curated numerous fashion shows, artistic displays, and cultural events worldwide, including several in the DMV. Her home collection of collaged picture frames, lamps, and planters is currently showcased at Arts'tination Gallery in National Harbor, Maryland, where she is a resident artist.
Marie attributes her creative style and versatile approach to extensive travel, living abroad, and the cultural influences from her childhood during the 70s race riots. She also honors her familyβs quilting heritage and is dedicated to creating impactful works.
