Building Pathways for Future Artists

Through our Pathways to Public Art Apprenticeship Programβ€”the first of its kind in Marylandβ€”we equip emerging artists and residents with hands-on experience creating ground murals that make public spaces safer and more welcoming. Apprentices receive professional training in mural design, community engagement, and urban design, all while helping to build a stronger cultural identity across Prince George’s County. This innovative program prepares participants for careers in public art, placemaking, and creative industries.
