A Festival for the People: PGAHC Sponsors a Day of Local Pride in Largo

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the energy at The Carillon in Downtown Largo was vibrant and alive as community members came together for the annual Downtown Largo Festival — and PGAHC was proud to sponsor and support this celebration of culture, creativity, and community pride.

Hosted by the Largo Town Center Association in partnership with the Prince George’s County Planning Department, the festival was part of the County’s Placemaking Around Town Program and offered a full day of engaging experiences for all ages. From live music and cultural performances to family activities, local vendors, gardening demonstrations, and a farmers market — there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The festival's mission centered around environmental awareness, sustainability, and community connection, using creativity and interactive learning to engage residents and visitors alike. The result was a dynamic and welcoming space that celebrated both the local culture and the shared values of the Largo community.

PGAHC was excited to support this effort, continuing our commitment to creative placemaking that uplifts local voices and transforms public spaces into sites of inspiration and connection.

Thank you to all the partners and residents who made the day such a success — and to the #LoveMyLargo community for showing up with heart and hometown pride.
