Creative Mornings at the Harbor: PGAHC at Kids Day 2025
On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council brought its signature creativity to the waterfront as part of National Harbor’s weekly Kids Day series — a summer-long lineup of family fun held every Tuesday morning on the Plaza.
That day’s theme: Arts and Imagination. In partnership with WHUT PBS Kids and Muse Paintbar, PGAHC’s Arts’tination team joined the fun with hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and creative play. From painting to interactive art stations, children explored their imaginations in a welcoming and energetic environment, surrounded by music, sunshine, and the beautiful backdrop of the Harbor.
As always, PGAHC was proud to participate in this family-focused event, helping introduce young minds to the arts in accessible and joyful ways. Events like Kids Day are an important reminder that creativity starts young — and our presence in spaces like these helps nurture a lifelong love for the arts in Prince George’s County and beyond.
Thank you to National Harbor and M-NCPPC for including us in this year’s summer of fun!
