PGAHC at the 2025 Maryland Arts Summit
On June 17–18, 2025, the Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council (PGAHC) proudly served as a sponsor for the Maryland Arts Summit, hosted right here at Prince George’s Community College’s Center for Performing Arts in Largo, MD.
This two-day statewide gathering brought together a vibrant mix of artists, educators, cultural leaders, arts organizations, and community stakeholders for meaningful conversations and collaborative learning. From teaching artists and youth leaders to public artists and folklife practitioners, the Summit represented the full spectrum of Maryland’s creative ecosystem.
PGAHC was honored to support this convening of talent and thought leadership, especially as it took place in our home county. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to celebrate accomplishments, exchange ideas, and address challenges affecting the arts sector across the state. It was a reminder that through dialogue, action, and collaboration, we can strengthen the arts infrastructure and ensure long-term success for creatives in Maryland.
As always, we are committed to advocating for the arts and amplifying the work being done throughout Prince George’s and beyond. Stay tuned for continued partnerships and programming that build on the momentum of events like the Maryland Arts Summit.
