PGAHC Sponsors Mount Rainier Day 2025

On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the City of Mount Rainier came alive with music, art, and community spirit during the annual Mount Rainier Day celebration — and PGAHC was proud to be one of this year’s sponsors.

Held at the Mount Rainier Nature Center, the day kicked off with a high-energy parade featuring cultural performers, marching bands like Batala Washington and the Naptown Brass Band, and a joyful showing of community pride. From there, attendees enjoyed a lively afternoon filled with live music, food trucks, family activities, and over 60 local vendors.

PGAHC’s support helped bring even more color and creativity to the event, especially during the noon family hour, which included arts and crafts, face painting, balloon twisting, a moon bounce, and character visits. It was a day full of connection — the kind that reminds us of the power of community and culture coming together in public spaces.

We’re honored to support events like Mount Rainier Day that highlight the unique energy of Prince George’s County neighborhoods. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate, and to the City of Mount Rainier for hosting such a beautiful day of togetherness.
