Spotlight: Tremaine Grant Is the Future of American Paintball

At just 17 years old, Tremaine Grant is doing more than making waves—he’s helping shape the future of American paintball. A native of Maryland and a proud member of Team USA U19 and New Jersey Filthy, Tremaine has already built a championship-level resume that rivals seasoned athletes twice his age.

From the 2025 NXL Tampa Bay Open to the Midwest Open, Tremaine has taken home major national titles in one of the sport’s most competitive divisions: D3 X-Ball. His ability to lead, adapt under pressure, and stay focused in fast-paced, high-stakes matches earned him back-to-back selections to Team USA, where he’s helped bring home multiple world titles.

But his journey didn’t start on a podium. It began at just seven years old on a paintball field, nervous but determined, surrounded by gear too big for his frame and dreams even bigger than his surroundings.

A Decade in the Making

Tremaine's story is rooted in family, mentorship, and unwavering discipline. Introduced to the sport by his stepfather, his passion quickly became a shared mission when his father joined the journey—traveling with him from local tournaments to international championships. That foundation helped him grow not only as an athlete, but also as a leader.

Stay composed, stay humble, and lift others as you climb.
