Join Tatiana Figueroa Ramírez, Poet Laureate of Prince George’s County, for You Are the Sun, a creative writing workshop exploring self-reflection, identity, and the light and warmth we each bring into the lives of others.
Through guided writing exercises and conversation, participants will consider the qualities they value within themselves as well as the ways they are seen by the people who know and care for them. Together, we’ll use writing to celebrate the parts of ourselves that deserve to be recognized, nurtured, and loved.
This workshop offers a welcoming space to slow down, reflect, and put words to the qualities that make you uniquely you.
Whether you’re an experienced writer or simply curious about exploring your thoughts on paper, all are welcome.

Acompaña a Tatiana Figueroa Ramírez, Poeta Laureada del Condado de Prince George’s, en Tú Eres el Sol, un taller de escritura creativa que explora la autorreflexión, la identidad y la luz y calidez que cada uno de nosotros aporta a la vida de los demás.
A través de ejercicios guiados de escritura y conversación, los participantes reflexionarán sobre las cualidades que valoran en sí mismos y sobre cómo los ven las personas que los conocen y los quieren.
