The Vision is Yours - Neighborhood Design Center Placemaking Forum

Join us for the 2025 VISION Conference presented by the Neighborhood Design Center (NDC), a dynamic gathering that brings together artists, designers, planners, activists, and community leaders to explore the intersection of design, equity, and community development.

The VISION Conference provides a collaborative space to:

  • Share ideas and innovative approaches to community design

  • Engage in conversations about equitable development and inclusive practices

  • Celebrate the creative voices shaping the future of our neighborhoods

  • Build connections across sectors to drive meaningful change

This year, the Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council (PGAHC) is proud to sponsor the VISION sessions, supporting discussions that highlight the power of design and the arts in reimagining public spaces, fostering community identity, and promoting social equity.

Maryland Arts Summit

Join us for the Maryland Arts Summit on Tuesday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 18, 2025, hosted at the Prince George’s Community College Center for Performing Arts in Largo, Maryland.

The Maryland Arts Summit is a statewide conference created by and for Maryland’s arts sector, bringing together arts advocates, educators, independent artists, arts organizations, public artists, youth, community leaders, and cultural stakeholders.

This annual gathering is an opportunity to:

  • Network and collaborate with peers from across the state

  • Share and celebrate innovative work happening in Maryland’s creative communities

  • Engage in important dialogue about the challenges and opportunities facing the arts sector

  • Inspire action to strengthen support systems for artists and organizations

We at Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council (PGAHC) are proud to sponsor the Creative Placemaking Track at this year’s Summit, supporting conversations and strategies that use arts and culture to build stronger, more vibrant communities.

Join PGAHC at Seat Pleasant Day 2025!

We’re excited to participate in Seat Pleasant Day 2025, the city's annual celebration of community, innovation, and progress! Join us on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Goodwin Park, located at 311 68th Place, Seat Pleasant, MD 20743.

This year’s theme, "Empowered by Innovation, Driven by Community," highlights Seat Pleasant’s commitment to embracing forward-thinking solutions and celebrating the people who make the city strong. The day will kick off with a lively parade at 9:30 AM, followed by a full schedule of activities, including:

  • Innovation Station exhibits

  • Green City sustainability showcases

  • A Business District spotlighting local entrepreneurship

  • Live music and dance performances

  • Food trucks, games, and family-friendly activities
