20743 Coalition Launches with Historic Community Celebration
On May 17, 2025, PGAHC had the honor of attending the 20743 Coalition Ceremonial Signing & Community Celebration — a powerful event marking the beginning of a historic partnership between the Town of Capitol Heights, the Town of Fairmount Heights, and the City of Seat Pleasant.
This newly formed coalition represents more than a shared ZIP code — it embodies a shared vision for transformation, unity, and progress along the Central Avenue Blue Line Corridor. The event was both celebratory and deeply moving, as community members, leaders, and partners gathered to affirm their collective commitment to revitalizing the region.
PGAHC has long enjoyed meaningful partnerships with each of these municipalities, and we are excited to support this next chapter through the lens of the arts. As the lead for the public art strategy under the Blue Line Corridor Initiative, PGAHC is working alongside LISC, The Capital Market Maryland, and local leaders to launch creative placemaking projects across these communities over the next year.
These efforts aim to spark engagement, beautify public spaces, and strengthen cultural identity — all while investing in the artists, stories, and residents that make this corridor so vibrant.
We’re proud to support the 20743 Coalition and look forward to the powerful work ahead. Stay tuned for more updates as the creative placemaking journey continues.
